Leporellos

The leporello

A leporello is a miniature photo album folded in the shape of an accordion. The zigzag fold creates 8 pages on the front and 6 pages on the back for your favorite photos. When folded, the leporello looks like a small, thin book with solid covers. Leporellos are often equipped with a few pictures as small gifts for loved ones and can be set up or hung up.

The cover of our leporellos is made of fine Italian colored paper in "Carta varese" - or "Florentine" - style. Both have in common the bright and cheerful colors. The Florentine paper is also partially gilded and more opulent in appearance.

The accordion

A leporello - inner part is folded by hand into 8 fields of equal size. You use high-quality photo cardboard in black or cream. This type of picture show has been around for a long time (remember leporellos of city views).

closure

"Schreibweise" - Leporellos always have a satin bow to close and hold the two covers together - a pretty and useful accessory for an individual Leporello.

Our original leporellos are 5,11" wide and 7,08" high.
